TQVM..The retention time that i got for 10^6 ng/L is about 7.978 and the peak area is about 2095457..Is it ok? or is it true?Welcome the the forum.hello..can anyone help me..i just want to confirm what is the retention time for 1 ppm geosmin standard solution..TQ..
It is impossible to answer your question if you do not tell us what conditions you are using for the analysis.

Double the concentration of geosmine solution and check whether the consecutive peak is what you expected.TQVM..The retention time that i got for 10^6 ng/L is about 7.978 and the peak area is about 2095457..Is it ok? or is it true?Welcome the the forum.hello..can anyone help me..i just want to confirm what is the retention time for 1 ppm geosmin standard solution..TQ..

The GC/MS conditions were as follows: 50°C for 1 min, 15°C/min to 250°C, final temperature hold for 5 min; Rxi-5MS column, 30 m x 0.25 mm x 0.25 µm (Restek, Japan); vaporizing chamber temperature 230°C; interface temperature 230°C; and ion source temperature 200°C.
Well within confidence interval.but I didn't have any information
so it is still good result
But not fit for purpose.
