Agilent 1100 prep and Masslynx

I have an Agilent 1100 prep that I want use with a Micromass Platform LC MS and to control the fraction collection triggering using MassLynx V4.0... is this possible?

I have been reading up on this a lot lately... it should be possible.
we are not quite at the interfacing part yet, as we have been gradually rebuilding / fixing up an old Platform LC.
think we are nearly there, except have got snagged with "AI cannot identify target transputer".
transputer registers ok 0 0 on the internal readouts, but will not communicate with PC (TDAT).

when we get past this I will let you know if we achieve interfacing the PC /1100 and platform.
