Dear Chromatographers.

I wonder if you can help me with this subject

after a sample reading, the GC autosampler (Agilent-7683B Series) inyects the next sample before the oven temperature reaches the indicated in my method, wich is 50ºC.

what could be the problem in the GC or the autosampler?

thank you very much!
Hello

Do as below: (GC keyboard)

1.Click "Config"
2.Select "Oven"
3.Scroll to "Ignore ready"
4.Press "No/Off" to set it to "TRUE"

It should help.

Dear Tomasz.

That was a good idea, but unfortunately the 6890N GC display only shows: max temp; equib time and cryo when "config" oven.

Thanks any way.

Best regards.
Is the GC configured to Auto Prep run On ?

NB - feature mentioned by Tomasz was implemented in 7890 GC
There should be a feature in your instrument control software to tell the oven to wait X time units after ready ( equiliberation time). I usually set mine for 1=2 min.
