Hi I have a 6890N/5973N GC/MS. For some reason when we run a sample we cannot see any peaks before 2 minutes in the run. After 2 minutes all is fine. The MS is on and the EM has voltage applied. We have the solvent delay turned off (set at 0). The baseline is completely flat prior to the 2 minutes. It looks like the analyzer is not on (but we have EM voltage). Also at exactly the 2 minute mark we hear a click, like something turned on (the MS). Please help.
Hello

"Click" you hear is when filament is on. Chek your method again (perhaps you have something set up in time events) or create new method - but not based on existing one, create it from scratch.

Thanks Tomasz,

Will check, thanks.
