G1312A Pressure Transducer

Good afternoon,

I'm working on an Agilent 1100 series G1312A (binary) pump. After start up with no errors, the pump is not showing any pressure, even though flow is 1 ml/min through a column. Flow rate is accurate, there are no leaks.

How can I determine if the pressure transducer is working?

If replacement is necessary, can a diagram or schematic exist?

I'm going through the factory pressure test right now. Figure if no pressure values show up in the test, might be a good indication of a non-working transducer.

Thanks

Pressure test failed due to an error - test result says "Measurement Failed"

I assume this means that the pressure couldn't be read so it couldn't perform this test....

Hello

I'd recommend:
1.Reload firmware (sometimes it can help)
2.Check connection inside (mainboard)
3."Cold start" - it is a procedure described in manual, it loads factory setting for pump (you need to change switches configuration at the back of the pump)
If it won't help you need to check pressure sensor or/and mainboard

In the back of the pump you have analog pressure output. If you have A/D converter or integrator at hand you can try and check if you are able to read trough analog output or at least measure the voltage difference.
Pressure sensor is connected on J24, on mainboard, check it.
