Dionex ICS-1100 regeneration column

Hi all,

We recently upgraded our software and after that, the number of injections is limited to around 25injections before the regeneration column should be changed. Previously it was around 3000. We tried to change it back to 3000, but we were not "allowed" to do so by the software. Is there anyone who knows a way around this, or a way to change it back to 3000? The software we are using is Chromeleon. The regeneration column is a ERC-10 column.

Thanks in advance

Christian

Chromeleon 6 or 7?

Where did you try and set the injection limit that was no allowed? F8 in the panel?

What is the error you see after 25 injections, please?

We are currently using Chromeleon 7. We tried to change the number of injections in the F8 panel, however the field where you should be able to adjust it is "greyed" out, and therefore we are unable to change it.

The error we get after the 25 injections is "Queue stopped because the eluent has expired".

Thank you for your reply

I'm on 6.8 so may not be a huge help.

It sounds like it isn't the number of injections, but the eluent itself.

Under F8, what happens if you reset the ER1 under the ICS1000? I assume you are trying to change the expiration date in this same location too. I'm working on a virtual system, so don't know if these are normally editable.

This will sound silly, but if you change the date on the computer, does it allow you to run more injections? Not a long term solution, but maybe a step in the right direction.

We are currently running the IC without the regeneration column until we get the new IC up and running. Thank you for your help, it's greatly appreciated!

Kind regards
