I've been reading a lot of methods that do derivatization in a microwave.

The procedure usually reads something like 50% of exit power of 200W for 3 minutes or the like. How does one set the microwave?

OK I see you have to mess with the microwave's power settings. I tried on a few things. Other than a mishap with a vial with DMSO it works. The more polar the solvent the more hot it gets in the microwave.
