HPLC is connected to the computer via USB, The computer can be set to read-only USB？
Setting method:
“HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control”, new “StorageDevicePolicies”—new “DWORD（32-bit）” —name “WriteProtect”,—data “1”

If this does not work, there is no other way to prohibit the use of USB ？

Are you asking a way to prevent someone from plugging in a USB flash drive and downloading methods/data/etc?

There may be a way to set administrative permissions and user permissions to prevent any new drives from mounting/installing.

I'd look to user permissions.
