Empower Acquistion Server and adding a new system

We use Empower 1 and we need to create a new system but it does not exist. I can create it from a system on a different node but cannot move it to the necessary node.
Can anyone tell me how to add a system image so that I can link it to the node in question. I may not fully understand how this process works.

I would recommend you upgrade to Empower 2 atleast as it is much simpler to use. I know one company that is selling the computer with CDs for only $900. Well worth the investment.

There's a file called TNSNames.ora that has to go on each node. It is the same for all nodes addressing a particular database server. Once you log onto a node after it has had Empower installed and has that file where it belongs, the DB server should be able to see it, then you can add your instruments.
PS - you really should update - as mentioned above.
