Hi all,

I'm looking to analyse a solvent for related substances according to British Pharmacopoeia. One of these related substances is 1,1,1-trichloroethane, however this reagent proving quite difficult to source from our approved suppliers (Fisher, Sigma, VWR).

Anyone know where I can order some? I can source some already made up in DMSO, however I would prefer to order a small quantity of >98% 1,1,1-TCE. European suppliers preferred, but I can stretch to U.S. suppliers if needed.

Cheers
Aaron

Have you opened my link ? :lol:
Thanks lads, much appreciated.
@dblux_: nope :oops:
there was no LGC in it so ..... :?

I never click on tinyurl links. Simply because I don't know the person posting the link, and ther is no chance to see where the link points to. It is very easy for forum spammers to redirect people to prepared evil sites that would even look like the site you are expecting.
I know this is very unlikely to happen in such a specialized forum, but I keep my internet security rules high.
BTW tinyurl has only limited use: copy-paste takes exactly the same amount of time, regardless how long the link actually is...

Cheers
Jörg
