Hey folks,

We utilize Avocent 8-port Serial Hubs for many of our GC connections. Waters has run out of stock and Avocent has discontinued the model.

I can't find any documentation for configuration on waters.com.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Cheers,
To set the cause above renown...
G1369C jetdirect boards & ethernet - cheaper, faster... if your GCs accomodate them.
Thanks,

Hi BTP,

if you are already running Empower3:

Buy a PCI to 4 x COM connnector.
Install it in the LAC/E .
No yo've got 5 COM-Ports at your LAC/E (for little money :) )

Best regards

Hi BTP

The USB to serial communication can be used from Empower3 FR2 only. Use a USB 2 port wchen configuring the converter. USB 3 can cause a com failure. The direct serial connection between PC and Agilent 6890 can used too. It is required a null modem cable.
