Hi colleagues,
I need help. Cannot tune the GC-MS. The warning sign reads: Tune action stopped. Cannot achieve constant peak widths. Pls what can the problem be. Thanks. Grace.

Hello

There is plenty of possible reasons. From huge air leak up to electronic problems with quad. You need to provide more details. Try to plugged transfer line with blank nut (to eliminate GC problems) and tune it again.

Can you give model of the GC/MS?

Also what is the pressure/vacuum gauge reading?

These will help, but as mentioned it can be many things that cause it.
