Any Varian/Agilent/Bruker users here? I have a 450GC and 240MS running on Agilent computer with Bruker firmware.
When I change a method and try to 'activate' it (ie send the method to the GC) the screen pops up with
'activated method rejected by 450GC'. Anybody know what might be going on?
This occurs when a configuration option in the method is not matching the instrument configuration. If you have changed any settings on the GC keypad it can cause this. Usually if you load the method in the method editor and click on something the GC section, it will prompt you automatically to match the method to the instrument configuration, just click ok. after that save and re-activate
