Hi to everyone,
I am working to a project where I need to extract from an Empower project the total injection number. The ideal would be to create an exporting method which allows me to select various sample sets and export all the injection done in an ASCII file. Finally I wanna open the ASCII file containing all data (injection ID, Sample Name and Date Acquired) in Excel and then build few pivot tables and graphs in order to analise the lab performances.
Can you explain me how to set up Empower 2 Export Field in order to achieve a table with the all injections performed?

Thanks a lot
should be straight forward

(writing from my mind, so I can't verify it)

create a new export method
on first tab (export raw data or so)
define the data path and a filename prefix
edit the table and add the data you want to have exported
- make sure to only include injection, sample and system infos, like the one you've mentioned, and no result or peak fields
save export method

select the desired sample sets or injections
right click > export > use specific export method > select the created one

-> the .txt file should be created in the defined path
-> if no file is produced, have a look at the Empower Message Center (the "E" icon in system tray) for more info why
-> use the Empower help (F1)
