Restek leak detector experience

I wonder if anybody has personal experience with handheld Restek leak detector. Is it effective in real life? Would be nice to know in advance.

Have had one since 2006 and can't believe I did GC analysis for 30 years without one. Employer regulations prohibit me from recommending specific brands but every GC lab should have one.

These are essential to proper troubleshooting. I am continually amazed that people post about plumbing problems and they have no way of checking whether they have leaks.

Beats trying to detect leaks with snoop or similar. Would buy one myself if they weren't quite so expensive.

Very usefull in daily work or trouble diagnosis. Specially if you work with capillary systems.
