Hi
I have a capillary 1100 hplc pump which i'd like to work at higher flow rates- say 200-500ul/min using porosshell or halo etc type columns. I wonder what you would suggest about doing this conversion- will i have to replace the microrotor seal and microrotor with a conventional one, replace all peeksil fittings with metal tubing, work in normal flow modeinstead of capillary, utilise a column oven at elevated temps to reduce vbackpressure?
I'dreally appreciate your ideas- there are examples for conventional flow 1100 conversions but none for capillary flow 1100 systems
Just change the tubing with larger ID of PEEK capillaries. Maybe you can use still your injection system and the flow cell of your detector.
What is the flow range of your pump system?
Good luck
