baseline noise/ API 3000

I would like to know if a baseline in the range of 2x10E5 to 5x10E5 cps is excessive when doing a Q1 scan on an API 3000 with just the APCI (heated nebulizer) attached as ion source, curtain gas and high voltage,
>>>no LC flow,
>>>no heat,
>>>no neb gas.
Just APCI source, probe High voltage and curtain gas (curtain gas at
.
State file is nothing special, DP about 40, FP about 170. EP at 10.
I think the baseline is a bit high but I have no reference to what it SHOULD be.
I am scanning the range of 50 to 500 AMU, 1 sec, 10 scans MCA. I am trying to get the system to as low a baseline as possible. First logical step would be to know what an acceptable baseline looks like.
Can anyone help?
