(( I am sorry don't know where to post this ))

Hi dear scientists, I hope you waste a little time to help me in this type of question :) please do in details

For example , I would like to study the degradation of some compound on the peel of certain fruit or vegetable ( apple, etc)by LC-UV or MS.

Now if i design an experiment from my head, i might face trouble with expert ( why you did this and why you did not consider that or maybe these all are rubbish).

My question is if i have any objective such as studying degradation of pesticide in vegtables, or any other objective from where i could find guidance on perfect or at least scientific procedure to follow. Sometimes as a teacher in the lab i want to find experiment for student to do in any application of LC or GC

The published papers are sometimes not clear. Do you know some resources i could see like published book etc? I will buy them

You can search the Journal of Chemical Education (http://www.acs.org) which publishes educational experiments related to LC, GC, MS and so on. The key question is what is your objective:
(i) Are you designing an educational experiment for a class which can be done in 4 hours or a week?
(ii) You wish to develop a year long research project for student?

Your original idea of pesticide degradation is not at all simple. A given pesticide must have been thoroughly studied in terms of its kinetics, lifetime, and degradation products formed via sunlight, moisture, soil, pH etc. You will have to search the original literature or contact the manufacturer.
