I can see where you select the detector minus column comp. However, I am having trouble finding where you actually perform the column compensation run.

Thanks for the response. I guess I should have noted this is a Agilent 6850 connected to a computer running EZchrom Elite 3.3.1. Is it possible to do the column compensation run in EZchrom Elite?Hello
If you're using Agilent GC do as below:
You need to run it from GC keybord.

I'm not sure if you can run it in EZCh but check detector signal options...you should have dropdown menu with
-signal
-signal - column compensation
-column compensation
If not, use hand controler from GC 6850 (instant pilot) to run it
