Hi,

I am running my 1100 with a CS B03.01. I want to see how the pressure varies during the course of a run / seaquence. I am not sure where I can find this data ?

Also as I undestand, it should be possible to see the UV plot at each time point when the CS is reading the data. I have specified a range of 190 to 500 nm. However dont know where I can find the data. I have a DAD so this data is definitely getting generated.

Can some one help. Sorry I am new to CS.

Regards

I am running ChemStation A10.02 but hopefully they aren't too different on this.

I am able to see the pressure logs by clicking Report (top menu) -> Edit Instrument Curves. Click the checkbox by pressure (or perhaps "High pressure").

On my version of ChemStation, the pressure signal does not appear immediately. I have to reload the data file after making this change. At that point, Pressure appears as a signal.

As for UV data, you can see this by clicking the spectral task. On my CS it's denoted by a colorful pyramid looking thing. From there you can see the spectrum at any time position.

In addition to the saved data Pancaker refers to, traces such as detector signal and system pressure can be monitored in real time during runs using the Online Plot in the Method and Run Control view. Click on the three-arrow icon to open it in a separate window, and select "Change" to add the traces you want. This only lets you monitor individual wavelengths from the DAD that are specified in the method; you can't view the whole spectrum in real time.

If you have problems finding 3D spectral data in the Data Analysis view, make sure you have a 3D Chemstation license (G2180) in addition to the basic license and make sure you've selected the 3D option in the Configuration Editor utility. If you don't have both of those in place, 3D data will not be generated even if spectral acquisition is specified in the method.
