Reccomended P&T system?

I am looking to replace an old Archon/Stratum combo with a new system. Our last two systems were Atomx, but we have not been able to run a method equivalent to USEPA 8260 (VOCs) satisfactorily. We do have a reduced purge time, but this was not an issue with the Archon systems.

We run all samples (waters or methanolic soil extracts in water) on soil mode (purged on the autosampler).

i am considering an EST CEnturion/Evolution but i am having trouble finding a supplier in Australia (can anyone help?).

I have also received some info on a CDS 7400, 7000 system

Any reccomendations?

I have been running the Centurion/Evolution combination and really like them. Our first one was the third Centurion made that could run soils, and the software was a little quirky at first but EST did a good job working out the bugs quickly and keeping us updated. Now that unit can run non stop from Monday morning until sometime on the weekend without a hitch.(once a quarter we receive about 300 drinking water samples in a week and it runs right through them no problem)

Thanks!

Do you ever have issues with stuck vials?

With the Centurion we don't have any vial problems since it does not move the vials unless it is for soils. We did have some problems with it removing the vial from the soil sparge position when we got the first one, but EST actually modified the design because of our feedback. Seems the vials we used were slightly larger(fraction of a mm)than what they used, and if they were wet it would form a suction after being placed into the cup, so they added small grooves to break the suction effect :)
