Hello,

I'm trying to do a run with sequence with an GC7890 with G1888 under Empower 2. My ICOP can control G1888 (I can do it with GC6890 and G1888). My exact problem is when I did start my sequence, the G1888 do not follow my instrument method parameters. It return to last parameters saved in it. What is weird is if I do setup or monitoring all works fine and G1888 have the parameters I set in my instruments method, but I soon I start my sequence the parameters changes.

Someone have an Idea?

I know my english is not good so if I'm not clear please let me know
Hello to all,

I did found my problem :P On the G1888, the option "Chain Method" was activated. To be able to Empower to control it, I have to deactivate it. By the way to deactivate it you must put "0" (zero) as value. I had to searh to find out how to do it. I wish it could help other.
