I'm having a communication problem between two Agilent 1100 HPLC modules. I identified the problem in bad CAN cable, if I switch cables with other module the problem moves with it.

The cable looks like normal LAN cable, did any one tried to connect modules with LAN Cable?

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck, or not?
i'm using regular lan cables for my 1100 systems. works well. just make sure you're not using a crossover cable by accident.
