Recognition with Waters 3100 detector/MassLynx [LC-MS]

First time posting here, so please let me know if this is in the wrong place, or not an appropriate Q.

So I recently started in a new lab, and we are having trouble getting MassLynx to recognize the Waters 3100 detector. The system was in working order, but after some issues and attempts to restart the system, it seems that the mass detector is no longer being picked up by MassLynx. There is a photodiode array that is being recognized by masslynx. The chromotographic pump also appears to be recognized. Of Note: per the instruction manual, the mass detector should "beep" upon restart, but we are not observing that beep. We've also tried pressing the little red "reset" button inside the detector casing, but this appears to have no effect.

Here is a link to an image of the console tree which is missing the mass detector:

I appreciate any insight you all can provide. Thanks!

End the Masslynx session, then reboot the host computer. Give it a 5-10 minutes then reboot the 3100 (the little button inside), giving 3-5 minutes to load software. Note the 3100 should beep when you re-initialize the EPC (via little button); if not, then with Masslynx Not running, attempt to ping the EPC via a command window, such as ping epc -t (use ctrl Z to end). The response will indicate if Masslynx can connect to the 3100. If you ping the EPC then call up Masslynx.
