FID connector on older Carlo Erba FID

Does anyone know where I can get a blank connector that will marry to an older Carlo Erba FID? This is a cylindrical connector that clicks into the metal box with two wedge shaped interlocks.
Best regards,

Have you checked with CE Instruments?

We will have them. Description sounds like the electrical connection to the FID ?

If I remember well it was a kind of Lemo coaxial connector. At least in FractoVap generation of GCs.

dblux,
Thanks, those are the ones.
CE Instruments, I am looking for the female portion of the FID cable (the bulkhead part in the little metal box that receives the FID cable) so that I can connect an FID cable to my detector so that I can use the CE electrometer. Would this be something you have?
Best regards,
AICMM

In the worst case scenario you may choose right socket directly from LEMO:

So to clarify you have broken the socket on the FID detector ? I'm not sure if we will have that part alone, we do have second hand FIDs. As the design changed in about 1999 to that for the Trace the factory will not stock the part. Contact me @ richard at ceinstruments.co.uk

Hi thanks for the e-mail but your account will not accept a response from me. I have checked our stock and the LEMO fittings don't have a part number on them. Your cheapest option is to contact LEMO , they should remember which fitting you need. I do however have almost exactly what you need. In the very old days of packed column GC the old columns used to bleed a lot, no PC data systems so you could buy twin channel GCs with two FIDs. The device I have connects a single electrometer to two FIDs (DSE48) so that you could run the two out of phase to cancel the baseline rise, all you would need to do is change one set of fittings to ones suitable for your Argon Ionisation detector. Bad news is that I would like $200 inc postage for this piece of history.

LEMO has got catalogs in pdf files (eg.
http://intra.lemo.ch//catalog/ROW/UK_En ... tipole.pdf).
Each group of connectors and sockets has nice description, drawing and dimensions.
So finding right part should be possible.
I'm not sure whether they sell directly to consumers, but having LEMO catalog numer you may buy elsewhere (for instance at Elfa:
https://www.elfa.se/elfa3~eu_en/elfa/in ... turer:Lemo).

Thanks for the info. I have sent the customer a LEMO catalog and asked them to id the part. I have a US distributor lined up once I get the part number sorted out.
