For an Agilent uECD make-up gas adaptor, is it better to use a brass or stainless steel 1/4" nut?

Thanks!
If this is a Swagelok female nut (as I believe it is) then it is not wetted and either material will work just fine.

What exactly are you concerned about?
FenderChrome,

We commonly use brass with copper tubing on the make-up on the ECD. The SWGLK part number for the nut is B-200-1 and the corresponding ferrules are B-200-SET. The carrier gas is inert and doesn't react with the tubing or nut.
