Dear Alls,

I would require some help from you about how to run a GCMS analysis with XCalibur. Here is my problem :
In the configuration I turned off the auto start for the GC.

1) If I start the sequencewith the auto sample :

- The GC equilibrates
- The autosampler starts and wash the needle
- The GC says ready to inject and then immediately says : waiting for inhibit RDY - It does not wait for the injection and the sequence stops


2) If I start the sequence with the MS :

- The GC equilibrates
- The autosampler starts and wash the needle and get the sample!
- The GC says ready to inject and waiting for closure contact
- The autosampler inject the sample !
but the MS says always ready and never running !

Any idea what to change?

please a little more information.
What GC model, MS model and AS model.

Sounds like start instrument is not defined. I`ll try to get a screenshot where you
can see what to enable.

I succeed to make it works yesterday by removing the auto start of the GC and MS and inhibit signal off for the GC...
