Hemoglobin method

I'm assuming that RP or CEX would be the modes of choice for hemoglobin resolution and quantitation.
However, has anyone had any experience or knowledge of being able to resolve the apo (-Fe) from the holoprotein (+Fe).

Thanks in adavnce.
CEX can effect more difficult separations than this; for example, separation of hemoglobin from hemiglobin.
