Empower Abort function

During a single injection, I aborted the run before it was finished.

The peaks I wanted already eluted.

But when I go to review the data, it says "data missing".

But it was working before. No changes.

If I let the run go to completion the data is there.

It may just be a matter of allowing some time for the node to send the data to the server (if you are in an enterprise or workgroup configuration). Hit "Update" on your project's channels tab after about 10 minutes (10 min. post abort) and see if it's there.

I tried waiting, the data is missing.

Not sure where it went.

I will have to let the run go to completion until I find out why the Abort function is losing data.

anyone have another idea. The version is old, 5.0.xxx 2002

Hi Gman4554

Do you try / or is the function "Verify Incomplete Data" available in Review?

Empower Help:
When a 2D or 3D datafile is brought into Review and indicates "Data Incomplete", the user can right-click on the chromatogram (2D) or the Contour Plot (3D) and select Verify Incomplete Data. This lets him or her to try to display the datafile with as much good information as possible. If the datafile can be displayed, it can be saved and used normally to generate results, reports, and so on. If the datafile is unacceptable, the user can click Cancel and the datafile will remain in its incomplete state and no changes will be made.

Best regards

Hi,
Unfortunately, Gman4554 is using Empower 1154 (version 5x) and the verify incomplete data was not introduced until build 2154 or Empower 2...
Save looking in vain.
