i looked for it online and other names for Acetal are Polyoxymethylene, Polyformaldehyde ... but these are not in Merck too.
i appreciate any help.

Try diethoxyethane, the other compounds you mention are plastics.there is a test in usp about impurities in alcohol. it needs Acetal. i want to order Acetal and buy it from Merck. but i can't find it on Merck book. i think it has other name.
