hi,

we are using sykam HPLC with pump S1125. The pump pressure drop to zero bar after 5 to 10 minutes of any run. Please be so kind to suggest me some possible solution.

Regards.

Have you checked the obvious things (1) leakage anywhere from the eluent line to the end of the detector (2) trapped bubble in the pump heads an (3) pump seals/ check valves. Last but not the least, a quick glance over the run program (where pressure limits are set) would be worthwhile; the pump will shut down if the lower and upper pressure limits are crossed in the run.

Hi,
Following your suggestion, i resolved the problem. I checked for leakage but no found no leakage. I put the check valves in sonicator (IPA) for 15 to 20 minutes and then checked the pressure. After that there was no pressure drop. I think there were some air trapped bubble in the check valve.

I did the same you suggested and finally resolved the problem.

Thanks a lot
