Hello All,
As you can see in the subject we have an Agilent LC-MS system (1100 HPLC coupled with 6410 QQQ) and the last months serious sensitivity drop appeared in LC-MS mode.
It strange a little bit because the tune solution showed almost the same intensities as months before.
Caffeine solution was measured (in MRM mode) through the tune line and the LC-MS flow as eluent or injected into the LC-MS path.
The intensities via LC path were the same (when it was pumped as eluent or injected as sample) but the tune flow resulted 1000x intensity gain.
The instrument was cleaned couple of times (desolvation, ion optics, detector even myself or the field engineer of Agilent representative) and the glass capillary was changed.
Any idea are welcome how to test/solve the problem.
