I was just quoted $14,000 for flow tuning software (Discovery Quant) from Sciex which seems a little exorbitant. Does anyone know how to get this software second hand (legal means). I am just referring to a license transfer from a computer that is no longer using Discovery Quant or from someone that just never bothered to install the software. Alternatively I use to use Automaton, which was a cheap flow tuning software, but now Sciex refuses to sell it. Is there any way to get an old license for Automaton?
