Power Supply Board of HP/Agilent HPLC 1050 series

Hey guys,

I just got a 20-year old HPLC from our department.
It worked pretty well last Friday, but got in trouble on Saturday. Every time I turned the autosampler on, the fuses would blow. I tried with new fuses several times, but got same results. I'm thinking the autosampler power supply board might be short-circuited.
Has anyone dealt with this kind of problem before? Is this repairable?
If it's not, where could I buy a replacement one? The HPLC model is really old, so I can't find any available part on Agilent website.

Thanks so much!
M

My group does do diagnostics and repair of instrument boards and power supplies. We also sell used instruments, and though we generally don't sell parts, we could sell a used 1050 power supply on an as-is basis (no warranties, though we could check that it powers on successfully). In this case, a used replacement part would probably be a less expensive option than repair, and we have a number of them in inventory.
