I have this issue hopefully somebody can help me.

I have a HP 5890 series II with an FID. Recently the instrument is not cooling down to the initial temperature. It stops around 96 degrees. The flappers are fine (they close when heating and open when cooling). The fan is working as well. I was suspecting that it was the oven temperature sensor, but i changed yesterday and stills the same problem. What i have to do so the instrument continues with the cooling cycle is to turn on and off the oven several times. After that it goes back to normal. the problem is that during the next sample i have to do the same thing again.

Please help me out if somebody had this problem before.
