I installed a A.07.01 version of Chemstation on a Win PC. I have a 1315B Agilent Detector.

When I start the CS, the program is not able to identify the Detector. A strange looking icon is shown on the left hand side, however the CS does not know what it is. Even when I add it to the right column, the system is not able to deal with it. I have tried to update the Firmware to 5.08 which should be compatible to this version of Chemstation, however still no success.

Any suggestions ?

Regards
Thats a little bit to few informations.

The system (the DAD) ins connected via LAN to the PC and via CAN to column oven?

Have you installed the bootp application?

When you start your DAD did your bootp work properly (sends the IP to the DAD)?

Can you please make a snapshot of the "strange looking icon"?

Have you added the correct Licence to the chemstation?
Any problem about Agilent GC, HPLC, chemstation, just let us know via engineer201208 at gmail dot com
Thx,
