Hi there,

Chemstation fails to connect to the mass detector, even though the mass is ready and it seems Chemstation can detect the devise. We even tried rebooting the computer. Should we restart the mass itself? Is it harmful?

Thanks,
-Sibia
Reboot the MS. If it won't reboot from the keypad on the MS turn the power off for 5 seconds and then turn it back on. Often the MS smart card gets hung up and won't communicate with the computer. A reboot is required to get its attention. Wait until the MS is ready before starting Chemstation.
