Hi All,
Does anyone know if it is possible to overlay and Subtract blank chromatograms from Sample/Standard chromatograms on Empower..
So the resulting chromatogram (the Sample/Standard minus the blank) can be reported?
Regards
Stephen

That's a function somewhere in your method set, calculated channels.
I think you could do it over there.

Yes, it is possible. I've done it, though it was many moons ago. If memory serves, I believe you'd need to label the channel you wish to subtract, then put together (or modify) a method set wherein you would specify the labeled channel to be subtracted.

Does this Method set have to be set up before you run your injections or can it be set up when the run has been completed?

It can be done afterwards.
In your sample set method, use something like BLK for the label for the blank injection.
In your method set, derive your channel as normal. Next, click that second channel tab: operator = "-"; channel = the channel you dervied for the First (Only) channel tab; check "From injection labeled"; add "BLK" in the box.
That should get you going.
