Resolution Peak- Asymmetry HPLC

Hi,

I would like to ask about whitch formula should we use to calculate the resolution between two asymmetric peaks .

Another discussion would be why the peaks or at least one of them are/is asymmetric. Could be unresolve peaks - i.e. no resolution of even more relevant/critical pair of peaks ?
