Hi everyone,
I want to know about Cryogenic instrumental set-up for GC. I want to know how liquid N2 or CO2 use for cooling the oven: by direct spay into oven or other ways.
Any help would be appreciated.
All the GCs I have seen use a valve to direct either liquid Nitrogen or CO2 into the fan. Choice of coolant is based on how low a temperature you want to reach and what you have available. In general terms if you can get liquid Nitrogen then choose this. If all you want to do is cool the GC faster and/or operate around the room temperature for our starting temp consider the Dani MAC chiller.
