I'm using MSD Chemstation D.01.02.16 and I have set up a quantitation method.
When I calculate the data result it gives me a result to two decimal places. I need it to show to three decimal places.
How do I do this?

Hello Kev,

You can alter the macro, which will invalidate your software validation.

Or you can change your units, eg if using mg, change to ug, and alter the
Calibration table from eg 10 mg to 10,000 ug. This way you can have even
more significant figures

Thank you very much.
Problem solved by changing my units to mg. :D

no problems,

The next issue you need to address. is to make sure that everyone who uses the new
calibration, knows that the units are now mg, not grams.

I suggest sending a group email to your colleagues/clients noting the change in units,
that way no one came claim ignorance and try and blame you. When you were
actually improving the results produced.

plus it shows management that you are a conscientious worker, improving output
at no extra cost

regards
Alex

Thanks for that.
It won't be a problem as I'm the only one using this particular method as it for a development project.

But I do understand what you mean about covering myself.
