Hi,

we got a new HPLC System a few weeks ago . The new system uses Empower 3 as software. Everythings works fine so far, except one thing: I'm not capable of changing the default file name in the report method. Empower 3 names all the files "Result"+"ResultId".suffix (e.g. "Result 100333.pdf").

I need Empower 3 to name all the files like this "SampleName"+"Username".suffix (e.g. "Glucosamine Lucky.pdf").

I checked the online help system, but i didn't find the solution for this problem. Is it possible to chance the default file name in this manner? And how can I accomplish it?

PS: Sorry for my poor english

You can add a static user name to the report tab of your export method.

Empower will always automatically add the resultid as far as I am aware.

Also, as far as I am aware, there is no dynamic way to add a sample name into the file name when exporting data.
