CUSTRPT ERROR...Help?!

I am new to running a GCMS so be patient with me. I am collecting data and when I go to calculate and print my FID reports I am inconsistently getting an error which closes down my Enhanced Data Analysis Window. I am just trying to set up a new method and sometimes when this error appears it is also closing down my Instrument window while I have a run going. The error messages read:
CustRPT
MSDA3924 did not repsond
Timeout while waiting DDE response.
Unexpected Program termination.
Sorry, a system error has occured! Program will close now.
Examine LOGGING file if LOGGING is on.
The next time they appeared the first window said:

MSDA2892 did not respond. No foreign application response to a DDE Initiate.
(then the unexpected prog term one came up again)
I have no idea what any of this is and don't know anything about MACROS if that is even related to this LOGGING message.
I am not sure if I changed something in the custom report section that would cause this error or what's going on.
