Hi ,

Im trying to put a business plan together for our lab first to be networked and then to go paperless with ERES CFR 21 compliance, hopefully in the near future

Any strategies, ideas ,thoughts and plan of actions to convince the powers that be (Senior managers) to invest in this procedure would be much appreciated

Thanks
where are you located? send me a pm please and i might be able to help you further

1.Have your network security as tight as possible.
2. Have a bullet-proof backup/restore plan(disaster recovery..., etc.).
3. Be prepared to qualify your network according to CFR 21 part 11.
4.Try to certify the lab according to ISO 17025.
5. Think about the rounding errors.Your computer systems give you results, results that you feed into a LIMS system:what system does the final reporting?

The subject is so vast but the end result is quite nice.In the end, you and your business will earn much more money than you do now.
