gradient time is more robust for steep gradient than shallow gradient, right?
do we have any equation to predict temperature effect on gradient retention time?

Only in the sense that everything happens faster, so any absolute errors are smaller. Percentage errors are about the same.

Yes, but it's complicated. k* values change roughly in proportion to 1/T (in °K). Read Snyder & Dolan's book on High Performance Gradient Elution for the math (here's a link to it on Amazon: http://tinyurl.com/ct68wxz )
