Hi I have varian 3800 GC. when I am not using Capillary Injector (capillary Column is not attched) I still get 12.5 ml flow in 1177 EFC?
I am geting not ready message and hence not able to run the GC?What clule be Peoblem?
Ifr you are not using that inlet then set the flow and pressure to zero and plug the column connection with a nut and blank ferrule.

Have you checked setup of instr? in column section, have you left original column configured? For example 30m *.025?
sometimes 3800 gc require fake configuration on inlet, even if you don't install col: so enter setup, and insert 1m*0.25 in conf and reboot
Sometimes with my 3800 has worked

Thnks for replay

I have done that

Now change of topic
In other unit of varian 3800 GC i am unable to make injection beacuse Gc is nit geting ready due to flow not geting stabilised by EFC. I checked al connection for leakages,The Septa changed,Capillary column leakage cheked
The Pressure is 10 PSI and I get set pressure 10 psi and actual pressure is 45 PSI ? What is the problem?
