Hello,

we would perhaps like to implement a Empower3 Installation with 18 Instruments (17 LC , 1 GC).
25% of the data will be 3D-Spectra, 75% Standard UV-Data

We expect up to 400k Injections per year.

Can anybody of you help us to estimate the data amount (Files / DB Size) per year ?

This is not as easy as you may think as the sizes you refer do not correlate directly with number of injections due to the multiple factors such as runtime, resolution, number of peaks, number of custom fields, number of options installed, audit trail records retained at either the project or system level and so on..
So bearing that in mind, please treat the following estimate with a suitable pinch of salt!

A database with 400,000 injections could have a user tablespace of between 20 and 50 GB and raw data files totalling between 40 and 100 GB.
How this grows depends upon your archiving and administration policies. Hope this helps with scoping your server.
