The US
"Murphy's Law" states: "If anything can go wrong, it will". For our non-US members, I believe this is also referred to as:
"Sod's Law" (UK)
"Le principe du maximum enm*rdement" (France - sorry about my French spelling!).
Any other versions?

A long shot: Der Krug geht zum Brunnen bis er bricht.
A very free translation: You can do a bodge job until it breaks down.

I try to don't think about it. I always reminds the uncertainty Haissenberg principle:
you can not determinate the momemtum and position of an electron at the same time.
that means: I can not have all that I want!!!
sorry for my special optimism.

Looking at the posts, it seems that people dwell too much on a particular subject. I think that this is caused by the dwell time in the mass spectrometer as well as the dwell volume of the HPLC instrument. Consequently, if somebody is doing LC-MS, he or she gotta do a lot of dwelling...

So if you are testing drug samples, is that the pharma in the dwell we sang about in grade school?
That probably does not "translate" well at all. Apologies to those whose native language is not English (perhaps more accurately "American"). On second thought, apologies also to those whose native language is English.

You are hurting my self esteem. Wait a minute, I'm at work. I clearly have NO self esteem. Never mind. Besides, if I am reading the pictures correctly, you are on the east side while I am "across the wide Missouri". You should be safe where you are. Maybe.
