pressure ripples and leaking seal wash tube

Hi,
This morning I found that the pressure ripples from 5 psi to 10 psi and the gap is slightly getting wider. Faulty check valves appeared in my mind instantly but when I checked the pump assembly, there was solvent drop at the bottom of the primary pump and we found that the the solvent is leaking from the seal wash tube connected to the primary pump. Whenever the solenoid is activated, I can see a spash of solvent pumping from that seal wash tube.
I was wondering whether the pressure ripple is caused by the leaking seal wash tube(maybe air was can be trapped into the pump seal when there is a leaking problem?) or the faulty check valve. In the meantime, could anyone give me some suggestions on how to fix the leaking seal wash tube?
I'm not a handy person and terrible at fixing stuffs, plus I am still not very experienced in working on HPLC. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated!
Thanks so much,
Hyuna
