Software to view/integrate Agilent .D files offline?

Hi!

Our lab has an Agilent 1100 system with Chemstation, which is used by multiple people. We are looking for a free/cheap piece of software that we can use to view and integrate our chromatograms offline on our personal computers. Can anyone suggest a solution?

I have looked at openchrom, which looks like it can only process files with MS data (i.e. not from our DAD detector). Though perhaps someone knows a way around this?

Thanks in advance!

The chemstation software has an offline-mode.

You have to install the whole software with your LC licence and then just start the "Instrument Offline".

Thats the easiest and quickest way i think.

If i remember correctly you can also choose a "data view" option (orsomething like that) when trying to install the software.

Eventually that is better, but i never tried that out.

Edit: Nevermind! There is only an option for "LC/MSD Data Analysis" so i suggest to install the whole LC software and use the "Instrument Offline".

Hi schlenkline,

we are currently working on a support for other detectors than MSD in OpenChrom. The next release will contain support for FID files, but we are also working on a support for DAD files. I'm also trying to decode the Agilent DAD format at the moment. Hence, it would be greate if you could send me test files.

In other cases, you could also try to use Aston:
